50s Master Cylinders Brake and Clutch

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE ORDERING.

There are two versions of the Master Cylinders fitted to 8, 10 ,Pennant and Companion Cars. Previous information regarding model years and modifications on this site and others is proving to be confusing and possibly incorrect.

Both Versions are shown below.

Version One "Sloping) has the integral fluid reservoir inclined beyond 90 degrees relative to the cylinder. This type seems to be the most commonly fitted.

Version Two (Vertical) has the integral fluid reservoir at 90 degrees relative to the cylinder. 

NOTE: When they are fitted the reservoir on either version will be in a vertical position. Therefore Please examine your cylinders carefully and compare to the photographs here.

Please note, no pushrod is supplied. You will need to reuse your old pushrod, it is a simple activity to remove the circlip and swap the pushrod from  your current cylinder
