50's 8 and 10 Oil Pressure Warning Light Switch

These are newly made modern replacements for the original Oil Pressure Warning Light Switch located on the near side of the Engine Block by the Pressure Relief Valve.

These have a thread compatible with the BSP drilling in the block and do not require an adaptor unlike many modern alternatives they also operate as per original at the correct on/off threshold of 7PSI.

These units can fail with age and can also become less accurate, both with potentially devastating consequences.

Original Equipment Switches would have had a threaded post for the wiring connection which was either a push on plug or a brass circular terminal and nut. Our units come fitted with a modern Lucar male connector and have a push on rubber water & dirt shield, a crimp fitting female Lucar connector is included. 

For those wishing to retain originality however it is possible to slip the cover off and remove the Lucar terminal by undoing the philips screw the screw can then be used to attache the original brass terminal if desired.
