50's 8, 10, Pennant Door Check Strap Fixing Pin replacement suitable for all models

Following a request from a member The Club 8 & 10 Spares Section is pleased to offer a replacement for the Rivets which attach the Door Check Straps to brackets on the A and B Pillars.
Rivets of the original type and size do not seem to be available any more, they were difficult to fit in a home garage setting.
The answer is a 1/4" diameter Clevis Pin secured with a push fit R Clip. Easy to fit, easy to remove and inexpensive an elegant solution to this issue.
Test fitted to my own 1955 8 as shown below, they work. A must if you are removing a door, or all of them, for restoration.
