Burman Steering Nut For All Cars except Flying 8 & Post War 8
Description
MEMBERS ONLY
The large Bronze bush in the Burman box wears over time, Free play develops in the steering and the car starts to wander and is difficult to control. New Track Rod Ends, available in another Section here may help the issue, but the next item to suspect is wear in the Bronze Burman nut.
The Club has a stock of new nuts for 30's and Flying Standards up to 1948. They do NOT fit cars with Marles Steering boxes.
Unfortunately, each model seems to have had a number of different nuts fitted (4 start, 5 start, Left or right hand thread), Before ordering please check exactly which nut is fitted to your car,
For Flying 8 & Post War 8 see separate item in this category, We have also listed a number of NOS steering columns.
If you can not see the nut you require listed please send your pattern to the Spares Officer, 43 The Ridgeway, St Albans, Herts AL4 9NR and we will try to match it
