50's Standard 8 & 10 GAZ Shocks Gas Adjustable Front Shock Absorbers Pair

The Club is pleased to introduce adjustable Front Shock Absorbers for all 50's 8 and 10 vehicles, manufactured in Great Britain by GAZ a leading industry supplier, These units have been exclusively developed by GAZ for The Standard Motor Club to match all original design parameters but built to the latest construction and design standards. 

These are only available through The Club and to Members ONLY the price shown, which includes VAT, represents a 20% saving if these units were available elsewhere. 

Gas pressurised to maintain a consistent damping effect across a wide range of movement and varying ambient temperatures these units are also adjustable for both bump and rebound damping by way of a single slotted adjuster over a range of 22 settings. Setting 4 equates to original damping specification becoming progressively stiffer up to Setting 22.

All Bushes are to original dimensions, upper bushings are a synthetic rubber  whilst the bottom bushes are Blue Polyurethene for greater durability and stiffness. These fit using all original upper cup washers, lower mounting and shackle pin.

Adjustable on the car by passing a flat screwdriver between the spring coils.

Fitted to and tested on the 8 & 10 Spares Co-ordinators 8 these Dampers offer an improved ride over poor road surfaces and better handling resisting spring compression on turn-in and spring release on corner exit helping to reduce oversteer.
