50's Set of Brake Pipes
Description
BACK IN STOCK
Complete car set of Copper pipes for Standard 8 and 10, plus Pennant or Companion
Kit is made up of pipes of the correct length with the ends Flared and tube nuts fitted but not formed to the original shapes. This can be easily done by hand.
Kit is labelled as LATE, this is to allow for a modification to the location of the union of the Front Flexible Hoses with the pipes that Standard introduced in 1955. This modification meant a small increase in length of the two front brake pipes. Whilst this might have been significant for rigid Conifer pipe it is not an issue with Copper Pipes as supplied.
The kit comprises parts numbered 1, 7, 18, 27, 36 and 38 on the diagram. Our kits also include the 2 bridge pipes on the front backplates. These are not shown in the drawing but make a total of 8 pipes. Make sure all these parts are included when looking at other systems
