50s Front Windscreen Rubbers - Early type

These rubbers fit!

There are two styles of front windscreen rubbers for 50's 8,10's and Pennants.  The 1953-mid 1955* models have a metal lip or rim into which the windscreen rubber fits.  Cars from  mid 1955 onwards all had windscreens without a rim and therefore need a late windscreen rubber.

*Cars supplied in 1955 were upgraded to the later specification on a piecemeal basis. If you own a 1955 car,  you will therefore need to specify whether you need an early windscreen rubber or a late windscreen rubber.  Usually you need an early windscreen rubber if your car was made before June 1955 AND has a commission number before
CS81624 for the Standard 8, or before
BE55874 for the Standard 10
