The club is now able to provide asbestos-free relined front shoes for all cars on an exchange basis.

There are two types of front brake shoe: the early type (known as banana shape) which fit cars up to around 1957 and the later type which fit all cars including the early cars.  If you have a 1957 car the only way to check what type of shoes are fitted to your car is to check first.

We are no longer charging a deposit, but as so many shoes have not been returned to us in the past it is necessary for us to receive your old shoes BEFORE we dispatch the new. We will only exchange Like for Like i.e. Early for Early.

PLEASE NOTE - THE LININGS  PROVIDED ARE BONDED TO THE SHOES

Please take precautions when removing your old asbestos shoes as the material is potentially carcinogenic. Wear a mask and gloves and double bag them in plastic before returning them.
